300B Now Available in Japan

After years of anticipation, availability of new production 300B’s was officially announced in Japan. Japanese hi-fi lovers, among the most enthusiastic in the world, can purchase the original Western Electric 300B starting November 1, 2021. Electori Co., Ltd. will serve as Western Electric’s exclusive, authorized dealer in Japan with Triode serving as official sales channel. A matched pair will sell for ¥ 210,000.

As production continues to strengthen at the Rossville Works, Western Electric looks forward to supplying the growing Japanese tube-audio market for many years to come.

In celebration of this announcement, the 300B was featured on the cover of Stereo Sound, Japan’s most popular hi-fi magazine. Copies of the magazine are available at Stereo Sound’s online store.
